 Attended Kingwood High School. Kingwood, Texas

  • Graduated Top 10%
  • Elected President of Vocational Industrial Club of America

Attended Aveda Institute of Cosmetology while attending  junior and senior years of high school

  • Took State Board Exam of Cosmetology scoring top 7%
  •  State License Received

Attended Sam Houston State University

major- Business Administration,  minor- Business Psychology

Working part time as a Hostess in the afternoons, met  Officers of

Schefflin & Co. New York and was  cast into the spotlight as the Southern Regional Spokesmodel promoting Moet Chandon Champagne for all Celebrity Golf Tournaments  My duties included:

  • Attended Celebrity Golf Tournaments driven in a special edition golf cart manufactured by Rolls Royce, handing out “splits” of chilled Moet champagne and responsible for promoting the brand by posing for photos with the Actors and Celebrities competing in the Tournament
  • Presented the Waterford Crystal trophies at the Award Ceremonies at the end of each Tournament

After attending college, opened and operated a successful women’s fashion boutique  in Kingwood, Texas

  • Generated Profit and Loss (P & L) Statements and all necessary financial docs without outside assistance
  • Applied for and obtained a D&B Rating for my store
  • Attended Fashion Week and did my own buying at the Dallas Market
  • Hired  salespeople for daily operations, enabling me to return to school

Attended Cornell Baker School of Real Estate 

Completion of requirements

  • Took State Board Exam, scored in top 10%, Obtained License

John Daughtery, Realtors Houston, Texas

Starla worked diligently for John Daughtery, Realtors working her way through the ranks to facilitate the opening of new office locations throughout Texas.

  • Starla, earning a respected reputation for listing, staging advice and selling properties in the $500k + price range
  • Authored a book- “Staged for Success”

Starla’s business grew expeditionally allowing little time for her husband, Glenn Green, a successful and respected leader in MLM (relationship marketing) and Media. Glenn pressed her to retire in order to spend more time at home and assist him in business.

Starla and Glenn rose through the rankings growing their Team to 42,000 members in 30 months

  • Appointed to the original “Circle of Champions”, a hand-selected focus group of 20 leaders and the 3 Founders and Principals of the Company
  • Achieved the top position of Director
  • Glenn Green facilitated and assisted the Company to become publicly traded on NYSE

Starla Green was featured as a “Woman of Distinction” and a keynote speaker at the National Convention of the publicly traded relationship marketing company at The Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis for 17,000 attendees.

Glenn Green was featured as a “Most Popular Instructor” at the YTB University, teaching attendees to “How to Utilize Media and the Internet to Take Your Business to the Next Level”  to standing room only classrooms

Starla received  hand written thank you’s from the Founders and CEO for her contributions to the Convention.

  • Starla Green founded and Co Chaired “The Teddy Bear Crusade” benefitting cancer patients of the Texas Children’s Hospital covered by local television news media and regularly written up in the Houston Chronicle Society columns.

Voted as The Who’s Who of Young Entrepreneurs in Houston.

Starla is known as a hard working, charismatic, nationally respected business leader with an excellent reputation for setting high standards for ethics and morality in her professional as well as personal life.
